I painted this on location (En Plein Air) many moons ago, in North Westchester, Ct. 06474 NOW both buildings are gone, another vanished landscape.
The Green Barn ~ River Rd, Colchester, Ct., The View is Across a timothy hay field from the Airline trail before it is was a popular walkway.
Trains once ran through the area, I remember the remains of Rail Road ties when I was a kid walking and hiking a long with my cousins and stories of
the regular train whistle being heard over the country side of North Westchester.
